Since 1994, Afu-Ra has been a mainstay in underground hip hop. As the only guest emcee on Jeru The Damaja’s first two albums, Afu’s verses were instant classics and he became part of the legendary Gangstarr Foundation. Swinging on his own, Afu enlisted DJ Premier, DJ Muggz, Da Beatminerz, The Gza, Sizzla, M.O.P. and others for his fantastic and critically acclaimed full length debut – Body of The Life Force. Since Then, Afu has continued to craft true school records.

Mazterchef features special collaborations with Jeru The Damaja, Sizzla, Sean Price, Sadat X and more. Never one to lose focus, Afu stays the course with brain crushing kicks and snares, Jamaican toasts, political and economic consciousness and lessons for life.The album releases 5 November, 2018.
